The MidAtlantic Chapter of ACLA Seeking More LGBT Exhibitors for Upcoming Conference in November!

The MidAtlantic Chapter of ACLA will be holding their chapter conference on November 17-18 at the Marriott Fairview Park, Falls Church, VA!  In recently speaking with a member of the planning committee they have expressed a strong desire to have the LGBT community better represented at this event and going forward! Aging Rainbows would like to co-sponsor with other inclusive care providers an exhibitors table at the event! Please reach out via email to or through our contacts tab to participate in this!!!

We have also offered to speak on creating inclusive care and other topics pertinent to LGBT older adults and hope that we will be given to opportunity to due so at a variety of venues.

To explain more about ALCA-

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter supports ~150-200 Aging Life Care/Geriatric Care Managers who work in the Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, D.C areas.

Aging Life Care Managers provide comprehensive assessments of older adults, recommend and coordinate care options, monitor ongoing services and keep family and other professionals updated. The goal being to advocate on behalf of their clients’ wishes, whether it be to remain home or transition to a supportive community. See our resources tab for inclusive care managers in your area.
